Are draft designs included in the final price?

I provide a digital draft using a photo of your wall, allowing you to visualise the mural before painting begins. This ensures the design meets your expectations and aligns with your space.

  • Standard design fee: $390

  • Complex designs: $500 (for long walls or projects with many elements)

Drafts typically take several days to complete and are a crucial part of delivering a high-quality mural.

If you proceed with the mural, the design fee is deducted from the total project cost.

What should I consider when hiring an artist for a large-scale mural?

When hiring an artist for a large-scale mural, consider the following key factors:

Licensing and Insurance

Ensure the artist holds the necessary licenses and insurance.

Budget and Pricing Structure

Discuss the project's budget upfront. Mural costs can vary based on size, detail, and location. For instance, a small mural might cost between $1,500 and $5,000, while larger projects can exceed $15,000.

Project Management and Timeline

Clarify the project's timeline, including design, approvals, and execution phases. A well-organised timeline demonstrates the artist's professionalism and helps manage expectations.

Contracts and Agreements

Establishing a clear contract outlining the scope of work, payment terms, timelines, and responsibilities ensure a successful collaboration and a mural that enhances your space. This document should also address copyright terms and any contingencies.

All murals by Annabelle Denniss are executed using high-quality materials suitable for the environment, including durable exterior paints and anti-graffiti coatings for public spaces. Safety considerations such as scaffolding, elevated platforms, or traffic management are handled professionally. Murals typically last 5–10 years, and agreements clearly outline lifespan, design changes, and image use.
