Complete the mural enquiry form to receive a personalised quote for your project.
Are draft designs included in the final price?
I provide a digital draft using a photo of your wall, allowing you to visualise the mural before painting begins. This ensures the design meets your expectations and aligns with your space.
Standard design fee: $390
Complex designs: $500 (for long walls or projects with many elements)
Drafts typically take several days to complete and are a crucial part of delivering a high-quality mural.
If you proceed with the mural, the design fee is deducted from the total project cost.
What should I consider when hiring an artist for a large-scale mural?
When hiring an artist for a large-scale mural, consider the following key factors:
Licensing and Insurance
Ensure the artist holds the necessary licenses and insurance.
Budget and Pricing Structure
Discuss the project's budget upfront. Mural costs can vary based on size, detail, and location. For instance, a small mural might cost between $1,500 and $5,000, while larger projects can exceed $15,000.
Project Management and Timeline
Clarify the project's timeline, including design, approvals, and execution phases. A well-organised timeline demonstrates the artist's professionalism and helps manage expectations.
Contracts and Agreements
Establishing a clear contract outlining the scope of work, payment terms, timelines, and responsibilities ensure a successful collaboration and a mural that enhances your space. This document should also address copyright terms and any contingencies.

Yes — proper wall preparation is essential for a durable, high-quality mural. The surface should be cleaned, free of debris, and without major cracks. Preparation needs vary by surface: rendered walls may require priming, brick may need sealing, and corrugated metal may need rust treatment or smoothing. While wall preparation is generally the client’s responsibility, optional wall preparation can be provided as part of the project for an additional fee to ensure the mural adheres properly and looks its best. Before painting begins, I’ll provide guidance on any specific preparation required for your wall.
